Super Bowl XLIX is upon us on February 1st, 2015: the New England Patriots vs the Seattle Seahawks. NFL fans wait all year long for this day. The Super Bowl tells us who is best, who is on top, and who our champion is.

A lot of stock is put into the Super Bowl. Fans wait through 256 regular season games and 11 playoff games just for this. Of the 12 teams that make it to the playoffs, 11 are eliminated and 1 is the Champion. It’s a big deal. We are now down to two teams after last Sunday’s big games.

The first game on Sunday pitted the Seattle Seahawks vs the Greenbay Packers. This game had everyone questioning football and all they knew before. It’s 16-0 at the halftime mark and the Seahawks are down. Seattle scores 22 points in the 2nd half to tie it up. This is one of the biggest comebacks anyone has ever seen. In overtime, the Seahawks score a touchdown and shock America. Seattle wins and heads to the Super Bowl after many doubted whether or not they could win.

Directly following, the New England Patriots played the Indianapolis Colts. The Patriots were in the lead at 14-0 in the first half. Some were worried it was going to end up just like the first game. The beginning was very familiar, but the game ended nothing like the Seahawks vs the Packers. The Colts just did not have it. The Patriots heavily defeated them with a final score of 45-7 and headed to the Super Bowl.

Both teams have proven themselves worthy of the Super Bowl XLIX title after Sunday, but only one will get it. Go vote for who you think will win right now! There is a poll; we want to know who you think will win. Be sure to watch this exciting game on Sunday, February 1st to see who is the Champion.
